Documentary DV Workshop
In five intensive days, you will script, shoot, edit and screen your short film. Participants will work in production groups to learn the fundamentals of videography, including camera work, audio, lighting and interview techniques. This workshop will introduce you to the documenatry form and provide you with skills to carry forward into your own projects.

Thursday: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Sunday: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday: Screening at 7:30 p.m.
Pictures and Words
Using literacy through photography methodlogy, experience self expression through the medium of photography paired with creative writing.
Monday – Thursday 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Ten hours of teaching and exercises will tell you what you need to know to get the idea out of your head and onto the page. Learn the basics of plot, character, formatting, scene and dialogue. You’ll leave with knowledge of how to both craft and market your work. Materials included
Friday: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (one hour lunch)

Guerilla films have been made by Spike Lee, Robert Rofriguez and Malvin Van Peebles.
We’ll work with the Canon GL2, professinal lighting and audio gear to learn the down and dirty style of filmmaking.
